The Delhi Liquor Scam is a political scandal concerning the Delhi Government, which paved its way through the introduction of Delhi's Excise Policy from 2021 to 2022. This policy brought in private firms and enterprise companies into the retail liquor sectors.

PMLA act is a criminal law enacted to prevent money laundering and to provide for confiscation of property derived from, or involved in, money-laundering and for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto. Voter verifiable paper audit trail (VVPAT) or verifiable paper record (VPR) is a method of providing feedback to voters using a ballotless voting system. A VVPAT is intended as an independent verification system for voting machines designed to allow voters to verify that their vote was cast correctly, to detect possible election fraud or malfunction, and to provide a means to audit the stored electronic results. It contains the name of the candidate (for whom vote has been cast) and symbol of the party/individual candidate. Voter Verifiable Paper Audit Trail (VVPAT) machines are used during election process to verify that the vote polled by a voter goes to the correct candidate.

  Mukhtar Ansari was a politician from Uttar Pradesh. Ansari was elected MLA from Mau constituency a record five times as a member of the Legislative Assembly. He was the main accused in the Krishnanand Rai murder case along with other crimes. Ansari won his first assembly election as a Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) candidate, and the next two as an independent. In 2007, Ansari joined the BSP and contested the 2009 Lok Sabha election but unsuccessfully.After which BSP expelled him from the party in 2010 due to criminal activities, later he formed his own party Qaumi Ekta Dal with his brothers. He was elected MLA from Mau seat in Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections 2012. Merged Qaumi Ekta Dal with BSP in 2017, and won as MLA for the fifth time in the assembly elections as a BSP candidate. He died of heart failure on 28 March 2024.

March 23 is remembered and celebrated as Martyrs' Day in India. On this day in 1931, three brave freedom fighters: Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev Thapar were hanged by the British.

Hardly anyone would have heard the name of Sandeshkhali area located in North 24 Parganas district of West Bengal, bordering Bangladesh, before January 5. Now Sandeshkhali's name is on the pages of every newspaper. The women allege that Mamata's party TMC leader Sheikh Shahjahan sexually harassed them and then forcibly took over the lands. The women demand that TMC leader Shahjahan Shaikh and his henchmen be arrested. The women have also accused the police of colluding with the accused.

According to Hindi calendar, Panchami Tithi of Shukla Paksha of Magh month will start on 13 February 2024 at 02:41 pm and till the next day on 14 February 2024 at 12:09 pm. This festival will be valid on 14th February as per Udayatithi. This day is also Valentine's Day and Black Day for India. You will get 5 hours time to worship Goddess Saraswati.

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman today presented Union Budget 2024 in Parliament. This was an interim budget as it came just ahead of the Lok Sabha Elections.
