There are books that feel like a book while reading and then there is ‘Sharten Laagoo’. The simple and lively stories compel you to take a look back at your own life and remember when you put these incidences at the back of your mind. It’s not just a collection of stories and a true incident, but also a reflection of what every one of us has seen sometime or the other, in our lives. The characters come alive, time and again as people we may have met, or as a persona of our own self.

Whether it is highs and lows of a relationship, chaos and bedlam of school life, petty or harmless office gossips, or the buzz of a salon; all stories are strongly steeped in reality and yet they take a superb flight of fancy in the hands of a master craftsman. Rich in imagination, broad in its scope and elegant in its style, ‘Sharten Laagoo’ is arguably one of the best debut works in recent Hindi literature.

We all have a list in our lives: the list of our dreams, little and big dreams. Sudha had a same list in her life. We all spend our lives in fulfilling our list of dreams.

When Sudha was completing her list of dreams, Chandar had already done whatever should be done by the age of thirty. He had loved three times, once true one, second time temporary and third time a live-in-relationship. He wanted a perfect life.

Musafir cafe is a story of Sudha, Chandar and of all those who wants to fill their list of wishes and looking for a perfect life.

What happens is when kids grow up their parents get them married, but here, the story is opposite.

Raghav Awasthi suddenly gets a thought of finding a boyfriend or husband for his single mother. However, it was easier said than done.

Ibnebatuti is a modern yet traditional story, a story of a lost relationship. Some beautiful words can never find their place in a dictionary, likewise, some beautiful people are not the part of any story, some words are never registered, some paths leads to no destinations.

Ibnebatuti is a tale of all those incomplete things, letters, talks, meets, emotions, thoughts and people.
